BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans make 'missed' observation over 'dream' moment during Andrea Bocelli performance

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left making the same observation as Andrea Bocelli performed during the latest results show. Sunday night's pre-recorded episode is often quite tense due to the dreaded dance-off.

But there was actually a tear-jerking start to Sunday night's (November 12) results show as they marked Remembrance Day. The BBC One dance contest's group of talented professional dancers paid their respects through a moving routine set to a slow version of Belinda Carlisle's Heaven Is A Place on Earth with Kai Widdrington and Lauren Oakley leading as a World War II couple separated by the war.

The group routine was also unique in that it wasn't just filmed in the ballroom at the Elstree studios but also at multiple other locations before being stitched together into the emotional spectacular which left viewers rushing to comment on social media.

Later, in between finding out who would be in the dance-off following week eight of the competition, Italian tenor Andrea appeared in the ballroom with a performance of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah which he performed alongside his daughter Virginia, aged 11.

But Strictly fans were actually thrilled to see Giovanni Pernice back on the dance floor after he was forced to leave this year's competition early after his dance partner Amanda Abbington’s unexpected departure due to 'personal reasons'.
