BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans baffled by 'missing' Jamie Borthwick and Pete Wicks in 'hidden' moment

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left unhappy after Jamie Borthwick and Pete Wicks seemingly went 'missing' from the latest live show as what was said on the dance floor was uncovered.

Both the actor and the podcast host had another strong weekend in the ballroom with the respective dance partners Michelle Tsiakkas and Jowita Przystal. While Pete brought all the emotions to the dance floor as he paid a moving tribute to his 'best mate', Jamie tried to bring drama with the dance he'd been waiting for the whole series so far to perform.

The latest live show on Saturday (November 9) marked a poignant night for reality star and podcast host Pete as week eight of the BBC One dance contest arrived. He used the couple's choice performance with Jowita Przystal to pay tribute to his late beloved nan, Doreen.

Pete and Jowita went on to be praised for their "moving" routine to The Best by Nicotine Dolls, in tribute to Pete's late grandmother, with the song being used at her funeral in 2022. They received their highest score to date, 36 out of 40, with a 10 coming from head judge Shirley Ballas.

And while Jamie impressed, he and Michelle did face a trickier time in the ballroom. The pair received less then enthusiastic comments from the judges following their latest stint on the dance floor, during which they performed an Argentine tango to Do I Wanna Know? by the Arctic Monkeys, after which they landed at the bottom of the leaderboard alongside Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu, with 30 points.

But unlike Shayne and Nancy, Jamie and Michelle escaped the dreaded dance-off and it was confirmed during Sunday night's (November 10) results
