BBC Radio 6 Music Festival 2025 in Manchester - line-up, tickets and everything you need to know
BBC Radio 6 Music's flagship live music event returns to Manchester next week with global premiere shows, new music debuts, unique collaborations and surprise guests.
Returning to Greater Manchester for the third consecutive year, a string of the region's best music venues will open their doors to host a variety of world-class acts between Wednesday 26 to Saturday March 29, 2025.
The music festival, which has previously featured the likes of Depeche Mode, Royal Blood, Young Fathers, Christine and the Queens, Idles and Belle and Sebastian, will this year feature two Mercury Prize-winners, Ezra Collective and English Teacher.
Jazz quintet Ezra Collective recalled: "2016 was the first time we ever got played on the station. Gilles Peterson gave us that precious moment.
"Since then it’s been a deep love for 6 Music, so to be in Manchester headlining their festival is a deep honour. See you on the dance floor.”
Taking place across venues including Victoria Warehouse, Band on the Wall and YES, the four-day event will also feature a headline set from Scottish post-rock band Mogwai with KNDS Fairey Acid Brass, while Kae Tempest will be marking their global premiere of new material at the festival.
Also on the bill will be Perfume Genius and Fat Dog, whilst 6 Music’s Jamz Supernova, Tom Ravenscroft and SHERELLE will all be DJing at Victoria Warehouse throughout the festival too.
