BBC Gavin and Stacey star shares fishing trip 'cut' footage truth after first glimpse at what happened

Gavin and Stacey star Rob Wilfort has shared some additional secrets about the infamous fishing trip that has remained a running joke throughout the 17-years of the beloved sitcom.

In the clip, Bryn can be heard exclaiming: "Who do we have here?"

The scene then switches to Jason with a fish in hand. You can also hear Bryn enthusiastically proclaim: "No one will go hungry in this camp tonight." Just before the footage cuts out, we hear his final remark of: "Enjoy your soup!" The simmering soup over an open fire emerges as a pivotal detail from the fishing excursion
