BBC EastEnders viewers spot Nish Panesar 'mistake' in dying wish twist

EastEnders delivered a major plot twist for the Panesar family on Wednesday (September 25) when Nish was rescued from the brink of death, only to alter his will from his hospital bed, dealing a significant blow to his former wife.

Nish (Navin Chowdhry) found himself struggling to breathe after collapsing due to his heart condition. However, instead of assisting him, Suki (Balvinder Sopal) merely observed her ex-husband's suffering as his malicious schemes seemed to be nearing their end.

Her grand scheme was disrupted when her girlfriend Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and granddaughter Avani (Aaliyah James) came home.

Avani immediately intervened to assist her grandfather Nish, calling an ambulance and questioning why Suki had not helped him.

Eve sought the truth from Suki, but she hurried to the hospital to ensure Avani didn't reveal her intention to let Nish die.

At the hospital, Suki claimed she was in shock following Nish's collapse, but Avani was convinced that Suki knew exactly what she was doing, reports the Daily Star.

Nish requested a private conversation with Suki. Despite Avani and Eve's reluctance to leave them alone, Suki admitted that she would have let him die if she hadn't been interrupted.

Recognising there was no chance of reconciliation, Nish asked to make a phone call, and later, his solicitor paid him a visit.

The rest of the family arrived at the hospital, where Nish announced that he had signed his last will and testament, which his solicitor had sealed and placed on his lap.

Nish prompted Suki to read the updated will, and she was stunned to find out he had bequeathed his entire estate, properties, and assets to his two grandchildren, Avani and Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury).
