Bayley return: WWE star hints at potential comeback match
Since Rhea Ripley broke away from her partnership with Nikki A.S.H, the WWE Universe is seeing more of her dominant Raw women’s champion attitude.
The duo known as Super Brutality divided fans from the start, with many claiming the partnership was holding back Ripley’s potential as an individual wrestler.
The Nightmare cut ties with Nikki A.S.H, which has boiled into a fierce rivalry between the two ex-teammates.
Since the separation, the Almost Superhero has turned heel and has attacked Ripley on a number of occasions. The most recent clash happened last night, which resulted in Nikki A.S.H having her head smashed off the judges’ table before falling victim to Riptide.
After a poignant ending to the clash, now seems like a good time for the Super Brutality chapter to close and for both superstars to explore new avenues.
That’s certainly what WWE icon Bayley seems to think, anyway.
The first ever female Grand Slam champion is currently recovering from an ACL injury and hasn’t been seen in the ring since Hell in a Cell last summer. However, she has been dropping some subtle hints over her pending return in recent weeks.
Her most recent one appears to be an offer to Ripley.
“You ready for a new opponent yet or what?” she wrote on Twitter, tagging The Nightmare in the post.
@RheaRipley_WWE you ready for a new opponent yet or what
Ripley responded almost immediately, asking if Bayley was volunteering to be her new punching bag.
You volunteering to be my new punching bag?
