Bayindir, Martial, Antony - Manchester United's best XI vs Everton in worst-case injury scenario
Manchester United have been hampered by constant injury setbacks throughout the season and the list is starting to grow once again.
Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen picked up setbacks before the international break while Andre Onana was taken off in Cameroon’s latest match. Marcus Rashford also sustained a knock in England’s 2-0 Euro 2024 qualifying win over Malta on Friday.
Diogo Dalot pulled out of Portugal duty due to the birth of his child but could be back in time for United’s next match against Everton a week on Sunday. United may field an interesting XI in the worst-case scenario that all doubts are ruled out of the trip to Goodison Park.

Reports on Saturday evening suggested that Onana’s setback is not serious, raising hopes he may be fine to face Everton. However, with important fixtures against Galatasaray, Newcastle and Chelsea coming up, if Onana is not deemed fully fit then Altay Bayindir could get his debut next weekend.
Harry Maguire has been in good form in recent weeks and Erik ten Hag is clearly not a fan of using Raphael Varane as a left-sided centre-back. In which case, Victor Lindelof may get the nod with Lisandro Martinez out until at least January.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka missed the win over Luton due to illness. It is hoped he will have recovered by the time United travel to Everton but if he needs more time to get back up to peak fitness then Dalot could start with Sergio Reguilon currently the only fit natural left-back.
With Casemiro out until 2024, Sofyan Amrabat will be asked to play as the pivot. Mason Mount hasn't had the brightest of starts to his United career
