Battlefield 2042 Petition Demanding Refunds Passes 50k Signatures

A petition that has been circulating online regarding Battlefield 2042 has now passed 50,000 signatures as upset players continue to demand refunds.

EA and DICE have received widespread criticism following what was a disastrous launch of their all-new first-person shooter, in what is the sixth mainline addition to the long-running series.

Players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition, which cost in excess of £100, were nothing short of furious with the game they were given in exchange for their hard-earned cash. A title riddled with bugs, glitches and in-game crashes.

At the time of writing, the petition has 62,000 signatures.

CEO Andrew Wilson openly admitted to the company’s investors that “the launch of Battlefield 2042 did not meet our expectations.”
