Batista: WWE legend with long hair in rarely-seen-before photo

WWE Superstars come in all shapes and sizes, but Batista had one of the most incredible physiques the company has ever seen.

We all know Batista as the short-haired or even bald big man, but he hasn’t always looked like that.

A photo of the former WWE Champion has been shared online, showing him with long hair, and it’s really caught fans by surprise.

A photo shared by Twitter user @WrestleClips, which you can see below, showed Batista with his long hair before he joined WWE, and it’s really something to behold.

The Twitter post notes that the photo was taken in 1998, four years before Batista debuted on WWE's main roster alongside D'Von Dudley.

Batista made his first appearance for WWE without any hair, so this photo will give fans an insight into what he would have looked like if he didn't drastically change up his look

Below is some of the reaction Batista’s rarely-seen look, with many fans, as expected, taken aback by the image.

Batista was last seen on WWE TV in April 2019, wrestling his final match against long-time rival Triple H at WrestleMania 35.

While it wasn’t public knowledge beforehand, Batista announced after WrestleMania that his loss to Triple H would be his final wrestling match.

Many wrestlers have previously said they’re retired only to come back later on, but Batista has emphasised during several interviews that he really hasn’t had his last match and won’t ever be returning.

In fact, during an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Batista said that he'd rather go broke than wrestle another match, via Fightful.

This is a real wrestling retirement. I am done. My in ring career is over. I would love to go back on the show because I love the company and I believe in the product so I would go back and go on
