Barcelona v Atletico: Jordi Alba equalises with stunning volley

Barcelona’s Jordi Alba scored a stunning volley against Atletico Madrid in La Liga on Sunday.

Minutes after Barcelona had fallen behind through Yannick Carrasco’s goal, Alba levelled the scores with a truly outrageous effort from Dani Alves’ cross.

The Spaniard made perfect contact with the ball to send it looping over Jan Oblak and into the far corner.

Alba isn’t known for scoring but we’re so, so glad he decided to take this one on.

It was a thing of beauty.
