Barcelona think Kylian Mbappe has already signed for Real Madrid

Barcelona have reportedly switched their attention from Kylian Mbappe to Erling Haaland as they believe the PSG star already has a contract with Real Madrid.

Mbappe's future is one of the biggest topics in football as the French superstar is out of contract this summer having so far refused an extension with his current club PSG.

The French side have however not yet given up on keeping the 23-year-old at the club and last week they reportedly offered him £800,000 per week after tax in a bid to keep him 

If he does leave, Mbappe would be one of the hottest targets on the market with Europe's elite lining up to take him

One club that would welcome Mbappe is Barcelona but that door may now be closed as the Spanish side believe their rivals Real Madrid have already secured his signature.

'It would be very difficult for Florentino to lose Mbappe now. They must have signed something,' a senior Barcelona official is reported to have told GOAL.

Mbappe has made no secret of his desire to one day play for Real Madrid and it seems ever more likely that becomes a reality this summer.

In light of Mbappe's suspected move to the Spanish captial, Barcelona have changed tacks and are going after another young superstar.

Just as Mbappe's future is one of the most talk about, Erling Haaland's is also. 

The Borussia Dortmund player is rumoured to be on his way out this summer and Barcelona have decided to try and tempt him to the Camp Nou.  

GOAL reports that in order to sign Haaland, the club would need to sell players, as well as raise money by selling assets like audiovisual content producer Barca Studios and reduce the overall salary expenditure of the squad.
