Barcelona target Keira Walsh goes viral for unreal footwork in England training
Keira Walsh has gone viral after showing off her incredible footwork while training for England’s match against Luxembourg.
The Lionesses were training at St. George’s Park as they prepared for their final World Cup qualifying match.
This evening’s clash against Luxembourg is essentially a dead rubber after England defeated Austria 2-0 on Saturday to book a place at next year’s tournament.
This did not stop the players from trying to impress Lionesses boss Sarina Wiegman in training, with Walsh turning on the skill as she featured in a five-a-side match.
The 25-year-old first dispossessed Georgia Stanway, before turning and quickly moving the ball away from an incoming Beth England.
She then performed an impressive drag back to evade Lotte Wubben-Moy and Stanway, running into enough space to slot the ball into the back of the net.
A clip of the moment was shared by the Lionesses Twitter account, with the video quickly racking up more than 206,000 views, 7,211 likes, and 900 retweets.
