Barcelona stance on Jadon Sancho transfer from Man United as personal terms 'agreed'

Jadon Sancho continues to attract interest as the transfer window enters its final week but he might not be heading to Barcelona after all.

The Manchester United winger has been subject of interest from Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain while Barcelona had also been mentioned in the last few days. The Reds value Sancho at £40million and Manchester Evening News understands United would be open to selling him before deadline day.

While Barcelona are exploring opportunities on the market in the final days, there has been no movement from the club towards Sancho, according to Fabrizio Romano. However, they are close to signing Juventus star Federico Chiesa who is reported to have agreed personal terms, as per Spanish outlet SPORT.

Juventus are 'ready' to sell him for under a reported £13m (€15m) fee after becoming surplus to requirements. As a result, Barca will likely end their pursuit for Sancho.

United have found Sancho's wages to be a major stumbling block for clubs who are unwilling to match his current package. The 24-year-old is reported to be on £250,000 per week at Old Trafford making him one of the highest earners at the club behind Casemiro, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes.
