Barcelona 'scared off' by £42.8m Manchester United transfer demand amid Gareth Southgate hint

In the meantime, the Dutch will be determined to prove himself to Ratcliffe and deliver a maiden piece of silverware. Manchester United face Liverpool in the FA Cup quarterfinal this weekend and, with top four unlikely at the moment, this could be Ten Hag's last chance to impress.

So, with that being said, the Manchester Evening News has taken a look at some of the latest transfer news coming out of Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag has insisted Marcus Rashford it not for sale. The 26-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain for a while now as the French giants look to replace Kylian Mbappe, who's set to leave Les Parc des Princes in the summer.

Speaking to reporters on Friday afternoon, the Manchester United boss ruled out Rashford's departure. He said: "We did not sign him last season for four years with the intention to sell him now. He should be part of this project. It is not a subject we don't talk about."
