Ballon d'Or 2022 odds: Who is favourite and where Kevin De Bruyne & Cristiano Ronaldo rank

Real Madrid's Karim Benzema is now the odds on favourite to win this year's Ballon d'Or following another sensational performance in the Champions League, this time against Manchester City. The 34-year-old scored twice against City in their 4-3 defeat to Pep Guardiola's side, making it 41 goals in 41 goals this season, including 14 in ten appearances in Europe's biggest competition this season.

But City are not the only team to feel the wrath of the Frenchman, with Chelsea also succumbing to his goal scoring expertise, with Benzema netting five goals across the two legs against Thomas Tuchel's side.
