'Back in business' - Fulham defender & ex-Bolton Wanderers loanee Marlon Fossey's promising update

Former Bolton Wanderers loanee Marlon Fossey has given another encouraging update in his comeback from injury as the Fulham defender continues his rehabilitation.

The 23-year-old's time on the pitch this season came to a premature end last month after he suffered a torn meniscus while on loan at Wanderers.

The wing-back limped off towards the end of the loss to Plymouth Argyle and has had surgery on the injury, which has cut short his involvement on the pitch at Wanderers this season, a big blow for both the player and Bolton.

Fossey has been a huge success at Wanderers since arriving on loan from Fulham at the start of the January transfer window.

He made 16 appearances and scored once, helping Wanderers in their climb up the League One table over the past couple of months.

The defender has since returned to his parent club Fulham with Marco Silva's side facing the prospect of promotion back to the Premier League, something which could be sealed this evening with victory in the Championship over Preston North End at Craven Cottage.

And Fossey is progressing with his rehabilitation back at Fulham now and looks to be on the road to recovery.

Having undergone surgery, Fossey has recently been using a low gravity Alter G treadmill.

And now he has posted a further update on his Instagram account showing him wearing his football boots once again, suggesting he has at the very least now returned to training on grass.
