Baby's hair mysteriously starts falling out – then parents make horror find on home camera

A family stricken by a mysterious illness that saw their 10-month-old infant losing "clumps of hair" discovered the strange reason behind it after re-watching their security camera.

This bizarre tale started when one Florida family detected something off at their home when they returned from holiday.

Podcast host Mr Ballen told how Umar Abdullah and his wife Samira sensed something wasn't right soon after they arrived back from the Ohio trip. He explained: "The second they walked inside they had smelled this weird smell, it was something they had never smelled before. This wasn't rotten food or anything like that. It was a chemical smell."

Umar and Samira scoured their Tampa flat to find the source of the smell with windows thrown open in an effort to ventilate the space.

But things started going downhill when the couple noticed their baby daughter behaving oddly and refusing meals. "In addition to the baby obviously not feeling very well, Umar and Samira both began to complain that they had headaches," Mr Ballen continued.

Umar and Samira initially assumed they had all contracted a bug during their Ohio journey and opted to rest for a day or two until their health improved. But if anything, things got worse.

Mr Ballen said: "Over the next few days, their symptoms continued to get worse and worse. Umar's headache went from really bad to absolutely blinding. He couldn't do anything else but think about his headache and Samira had to lay down all day no matter how much she slept she had zero energy. Their poor baby just continued to cry and fuss all the time and even began to vomit."
