The first two winners, Aragon Castle and Persica, have both gone for home early in the straight and held on. It looks like something with staying ability to kick early can get the job done. Hunt horses with form over further through the rest of the day.

Enfjaar and Eydon scrapped to try and catch Persica and couldn't be split at the finale.
