At 3.10 we have the Arran Scottish Sprint (Listed) over five furlongs, and it’ll take some hurricane to stop Gale Force Maya who’s looking for her fifth win of the season. Michael Dod’s speed queen took a similar race at York in some style and it’ll take something very decent to beat her off this 3lbs higher mark.

In the earlier Listed Harry Rosebery Stakes (2.35) Bolt Action no doubt has the classiest form but keeps hitting the bar at this level. Favourite backers will be praying that today is the day Roger Varian’s charge lands him another big win, with Kerindia - recently third in a French Group 3 - looking his main danger.
