Aymeric Laporte ‘offered’ to PSG and Tottenham plus more Man City transfer rumours

Manchester City defender Aymeirc Laporte has reportedly been offered to Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham.

The centre-half is being tipped to leave the Etihad this summer after falling down the pecking order behind Ruben Dias, John Stones, Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake. The Spain international has played just 16 times this season, failing to start a Premier League game since the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest in February.

Laporte missed the first two months of the season following knee surgery and has not been able to reclaim his place in the starting XI since, largely being used in cup competitions. As a result of his reduced game time, the 28-year-old is thought to want to continue his career elsewhere.

The 23-year-old is in the final 14 months of his contract and is drawing the attention of a number of European giants, including City, Chelsea and Tottenham. Guardiola has reportedly been attracted to his ability to play the ball out of defence and his versatility in different defensive formations.
