Awoniyi scores as Forest claim first league win In two months

Taiwo Awoniyi was on target for Nottingham Forest who defeated West Ham United 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday.
Awoniyi has now scored six goals in 14 games in the Premier League this season.
For Forest, it is a first league win since 30 December 2023.
Ola Aina was rested for the game after just returning from the AFCON 2023 in Côte d’Ivoire.
Awoniyi put his side 1-0 in five minutes of additional time in the first half.
In the 67th minute, Awoniyi was replaced for former Liverpool striker Divock Origi.
West Ham were reduced to 10 players as Kalvin Philips received a second yellow card on 71 minutes.
In the 94th minutes Callum Hudson-Odoi got the second goal for Forest.
The win took Forest up to 15th place on 24 points in the league table.
