Ellis Genge gives up a penalty for a high tackle. The Aussie crowd make their voices heard during the replay but it's no more serious than a penalty.

England kick off and the second half as begun. Will Eddie Jones' team hold on or will Australia get back on top of the scoreboard?

Time to grab a quick bite and brew another coffee as we hit halftime. Australia have been the superior of the two sides but it's England who have the lead.

England snatch the lead!

England win the line-out and drive forward but Ludlam just can't quite get over. The go wide down their left but Freeman somehow is kept out. It was rub-your-eyes stuff because he looked so certain to get over.

It doesn't matter though, England have the advantage and go again but they don't need it. The ball pops up from the ruck and Steward powers over.

Farrell can't add the points but England still have the lead and we're into halftime.

England win a penalty at the scrum but Farrell hits the posts only for the Wallabies to recover.

White gives up another penalty for not releasing the ball and England elect to kick into touch this time.

Death, taxes and Eddie Jones controversy. Danny Care gets the hook and is replaced by Jack van Poortvliet.

You have to feel for Care but it's been the best start and his replacement was superb last week. A brave call by the coach, who'll not hear the end of it if it doesn't work.

Freeman snatches the ball after a bad Aussie offload and sets off for England before his pass is knocked on. Australia play on with the penalty in hand, then just as it expires, Slipper knocks on himself.
