Aurelien Tchouameni breaks silence on future amid Liverpool transfer link

Aurelien Tchouameni has said he would be open to staying with Monaco for another season despite links to some of European football's biggest clubs - including Liverpool.

The Reds are interested in the France international, who has propelled himself onto the radar of scouts around the world with some stellar displays for both club and country.

In addition to Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid are said to be keen on Tchouameni.

Despite admiring glances from across the continent, the man himself doesn't appear to be in any rush to leave the principality outfit, noting that he still potentially has three years left on his current contract.

"I am contracted here until 2024 with the option until 2025," he told the media this week (h/t the Mirror ). "We’ll see what the future has in store for me. The transfer window is always a period where lots of things can happen. There is my personal case, but there are cases for lots of other players who are out of contract or who perhaps have desires elsewhere."
