A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a van hit two pedestrians in Lancashire in the early hours. It happened in the Breck Road of Poulton-Le-Fylde, near Blackpool, shortly before 1am in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).

Detective Inspector Dave Little, from the force's West CID said: “This has left a man with some serious injuries, and first and foremost, my thoughts are with the two injured and receiving treatment.
