Atletico Madrid president confirms Joao Felix is returning to club as Mauricio Pochettino 'does not want' him at Chelsea

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has confirmed that Chelsea will not be signing Joao Felix permanently this summer and will return to the club. The Atletico forward joined the Premier League side on loan in January in a deal worth £15m. Ad Felix has played 20 times in all competitions for Chelsea since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, scoring four goals but failed to produce an assist.

He signed a four-year contract extension with Atletico until 2027 before his loan deal to Chelsea was confirmed. However, the London club have decided not to sign him on a permanent deal after his loan spell.
