Asda slashes price of hot cross buns and air fryer in run-up to Easter
One of the UK's largest supermarkets is slashing the price of a tonne of common household groceries and goods in the week leading up to Easter, including that seasonal favourite sweet treat - with a pack of hot cross buns costing just 75p, or 19p a bun.
Last week, Asda cut the price of some Easter eggs by more than half to 60p as part of their weekly Mega Event Price Drop, which caused a rush of customers stock up ahead of Easter Sunday, selling more than 4.6 million eggs in just one weekend
This weekend, Asda's price drop will not only see cut-price hot cross buns but also a cheap as chips air fryer going for as little as £19 - which could be a perfect purchase for anyone who struggles to keep their Easter Sunday roasties well roasted, or wants to save money on the cost of roasting a whole chicken.
