Asda shoppers go wild for dreamy £33 ‘Barbie pink’ Summer co-ord set

Co-ords are an extremely popular outfit choice, and the George at Asda’s £33 Pink Denim set has left most fashion fans dreaming of summer. However, while some shoppers have been obsessing over the new pink co-ord, others have shared a similar complaint.

The supermarket chain posted a picture of the snazzy set on its George clothing account, captioned: “Officially in our pink co-ord era. Shop bank holiday ‘fits from £8.”

The look consists of a Pink Denim Shacket which costs £18 and Pink High Waisted Denim Shorts for just £15, making it the perfect dreamy outfit for the warmer weather.

Some beauty lovers were quick to praise the affordable co-ord with pheebs.doyle commenting: “So cute! Perfect for Summer.” Another fan said: "it’s giving Barbie" with a third writing: "I would wear this outfit on repeat".

One buyer of the outfit said: “Bright and beautiful. Such a beautiful jacket, so many compliments. Such a happy bright colour and fits great. Wish they had more in other colours too.”

“I got this to go with the shorts but as the shorts came up too small I am returning this also. Comes up large (I sized down and it was still very oversized). True colour is bubblegum/Barbie type pink,” another reviewer wrote.

However, there was one recurring complaint that appeared in other reviews, MyLondon reports.

One buyer complained: “Absolutely huge sizes ordered my normal size and was about five times too big."

Another said: “Great colour and style but sadly too large and made from a heavy uncomfortable fabric. Would have been better to be a more fitted jacket than an oversized shirt. Had to send back.”
