Asda praised over hidden detail on children's clothing

Supermarket Asda has been praised over a special detail on its children clothing.

A parent shared a photo of one of its baby bodysuits to show how it's been adapted with a feeding tube hole.

Part of the retailer's Easy On Easy Wear range, the polka dot print bodysuit featuring Pudsey bear has been created for BBC Children in Need.

Other inclusive items have been created for older children too, like the Pudsey long sleeve top and matching sweatshirt and jogger outfit, which also have a feeding tube hole, and go up to age 16.

And a newly designed braille/sign language T-shirt - with the Pudsey slogan printed in both braille and sign language for both children and adults.

Hundreds of people responded to the Facebook post, many of them praising Asda for creating the specialist clothing 'at a reasonable price'.

"I'm a tubie and see a lot of tubiee mummas looking for bits and it's so expensive, well done Asda," said one.

"Asda have always been ahead of the game with baby clothes," said another.

The retailer's Easy On range includes everything from easy fasten school shirts to pinafores and polo shorts, with hook and loop instead of buttons.

Its Children in Need bodysuit is priced £3.75 and comes in sizes from 0-3 months to 3-4 years. You can see the full Children in Need range here.
