Arthur Numan insists Rangers are READY to claim title as he urges Ibrox side to rip up derby form book

Rangers legend Arthur Numan has urged his old side to trample on Hibs and Celtic and take a huge step towards title glory.

The Dutchman believes Philippe Clement’s team will be left with one hand on the Premiership crown if they can overcome Nick Montgomery’s men at home on Saturday and then follow it up with a first Old Firm victory of the season on April 7. Gers currently trail Brendan Rodgers’ Parkhead side by a point, but have a nine games still to play compared to the Hoops’ eight. And Numan is confident it will the Light Blues who go the distance.

He said: “Philippe Clement and his players will be desperate to get into action against Hibs on Saturday. That game signals the start of the title run-in and the Scottish Cup games and there will be no interruptions. The next eight weeks is the type of period all players should be ready to embrace.
