Arsenal's Oleksandr Zinchenko was absolutely fuming after conceding second goal to Leicester

Arsenal‘s encouraging start to the season took another leap forward on Saturday as they beat Leicester City 4-2.

New signing Gabriel Jesus marked his competitive home debut with a gem of a goal before doubling his tally as the Gunners made hay in the north London sunshine.

Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Martinelli would add strikes of their own to round out what was a quite wonderful afternoon for Mikel Arteta‘s side.

The result now has Arsenal sitting pretty in the Premier League standings, second only to Manchester City on goal difference.

Of course, the season still has a long old way to go but, considering the abysmal start they got off to in the previous campaign, you can hardly blame the Arsenal faithful for revelling in their flying start.

While it was Jesus who would hog the lion’s share of the headlines, another new signing also gave the Gunners plenty to be excited about with a pretty accomplished performance of his own.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, signed from Manchester City in the summer for £32 million, has slotted seamlessly into the Arsenal line-up and is looking right at home in the famous red and white colours.

He provided the assist for their opening goal of the season at Crystal Palace and once again looked a quality addition as he made his Emirates bow.

However, there was one moment in particular that seems to have truly endeared the Ukrainian to his new fan base as he was seen positively fuming after Leicester’s second goal.

With Arsenal seemingly cruising towards the three points, they were pegged back by a William Saliba own-goal before Leicester once again halved their lead through a rasping James Maddison strike.
