And while, yes, the evidence is pretty strong that Odegaard will never quite be the world-beater that some thought he would become, we can surely agree that he’s still one of the best attacking midfielders in the business nevertheless.

Well, even if you wouldn’t go quite that far, you’ve lost your mind if you don’t think he’s one of the finest operators in an Arsenal squad hunting down a Champions League return.

And there’s every reason to believe that Odegaard’s confidence is running high ahead of renewing that exact goal for the 2022/23 season, honing his skills as part of the Gunners’ pre-season tour.
