Arsenal 'pushing for third Man City signing' and other transfer rumours

Arsenal are reportedly interested in bringing Manchester City youngster Kian Breckin to the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta is no stranger to raiding his former club for signings having bought Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko to North London in the summer. According to The Sun, Breckin is the latest target on his radar after impressing for the Blues' U21s in the Premier League 2.

The 19-year-old central midfielder has made 21 appearances for the EDS this campaign, scoring seven goals and grabbing four assists in that time. Such form means that the Gunners are not the only side interested in Breckin.

It is claimed that Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton have all been to watch the youngster in action with a view to signing him. Breckin has been at the club since 2015 and has steadily progressed through the ranks to his current role.

Elsewhere, another City EDS talent has been attracting interest from a Premier League club. According to the Daily Mail, Leeds United are interested in making a move for U21 captain Shea Charles.

The Northern Irish defensive midfielder has been an ever-present in the Blues' Premier League 2 campaign making 22 appearances for Brian Barry-Murphy's men. His form earned him a call-up to the City bench for their Champions League round of 16 first leg draw at RB Leipzig.

Leeds have chosen to join Borussia Dortmund in the pursuit of Charles however the power is very much with Pep Guardiola due to his current contract lasting until 2027.
