Arsenal 'preparing' opening bid for Gabriel Jesus and more Man City transfer rumours
Arsenal are 'preparing' their opening bid for Gabriel Jesus this summer, with Manchester City wanting around €50-60million for his services.
That's according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano (via Caught Offside), who says the Blues are pushing for a fee around that mark, even if his current deal is not extended.
In recent weeks, Jesus has enjoyed a major turnaround in form. The Brazilian was seemingly a castaway for Pep Guardiola, but a stunning four-goal display against Watford propelled the 25-year-old back into the Catalan's thinking. After rewarding him with further starts in the Premier League and Champions League, the striker repaid the manager's faith by scoring further goals against Leeds United and Real Madrid.

With his City contract set to expire in 2023, Jesus and the club have a big decision to make regarding his future. Recent reports have suggested the striker will look to move away from the Etihad in search of regular game time, and his agent revealed last week that Arsenal - amongst other clubs - have had discussions about a potential transfer.
Staying on the lines regarding Jesus, according to Calcio Mercato, AC Milan and Juventus are two teams who have entered the race for the Brazilian and hope to convince the player to make the switch to Italy.
Milan are the club that are particularly interested and feel - despite it being a complex situation - that they can put the right economic package in front of Jesus and City.
