Arsenal on course for £15m double transfer boost ahead of summer window
Arsenal are in line for a £15million transfer windfall ahead of another big summer for Mikel Arteta.
The Spaniard spent more than £150m last summer, bringing in six new recruits to bolster his playing squad – but his spending spree has paid off with the Gunners on the verge of finally ending their multi-year Champions League exile. Arsenal are in pole position to clinch the final European berth ahead of Manchester United and their other top-four rivals, who are running out for games to catch the Gunners.
Even though a return to Europe represents a huge step forward for the Londoners, their squad is still in need of extensive surgery before the club can challenge for the Premier League title again.
After an underwhelming mid-season transfer window back in January, it's anticipated that Arsenal will splash the cash once again in the summer in a bid to consolidate their progress under Arteta.

But Torreira has struggled to force his way into Arteta's plans and spent last year on loan with Atletico Madrid, so a permanent exit would make sense for all parties. The report outlines that the club are holding talks with Arsenal and Torreira's agent, Pablo Bentancur, 'more frequently' in a bid to wrap up a deal.
