Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has delivered his verdict after the 2021-22 campaign came to an end. The Gunners narrowly missed out on a return to the Champions League but the summer signing is determined to look at the positives from the campaign.
"As the season has finished I would love to thank the fans for the season of support you have shown myself and the team!" Ramsdale wrote on Instagram. "We loved playing in front of you guys and were disappointed how it ended. We move next year, another chance to improve."
Mikel Arteta is eager to bolster his Arsenal midfield this summer and the latest name to be linked with a move to the Gunners already plays in the Premier League. Carney Chukwuemeka came through the academy at Aston Villa but Spanish outlet Sport report Arsenal want him.
The 18-year-old is highly rated at Villa Park but he is thought to want guaranteed game time, with a host of Bundesliga clubs reportedly interested in his signature as well. With just one year remaining on his Villa Park contract, Arsenal could make their move.
