The wait for Arsenal to announce the signing of Gabriel Jesus could soon be over - and this would be much to the delight of many supporters.

Over a week has passed since it was reported that the Gunners had reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign the striker for £45m - thus making him their fourth confirmed deal of the summer transfer window so far after the arrivals of Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira and Matt Turner.

With that said, it's been a few days since Gabriel Jesus underwent his medical - after being spotted at London Colney with Arsenal technical director Edu - as well as being seen wearing the number nine shirt at the Emirates Stadium. However, there's not been an announcement that his move is complete yet.

Although, official confirmation may come within the next 24 hours or so as he will have to be unveiled as a new Gunners player before Monday if he's to fly out with the rest of the senior squad - that could include those given extra time off after the international - to Germany for a training camp.

Details of the date when Arsenal head out for their first of two overseas tours this summer was included in a match report on the club's official website following the 5-1 win over Ipswich Town in a behind-closed-doors training match at London Colney on Saturday afternoon.
