Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta outlines aim to ‘take the club to a different level’ as he turns 40
Mikel Arteta says he wants to take Arsenal “to a different level” within the next 10 years.
As he celebrates his 40th birthday, Arteta has said that he wants to “have made our people very proud of what we’ve done” when he reaches 50.
Arteta, in a wide-ranging interview with Arsenal’s in-house media, has also revealed what he believes is one of his biggest successes since taking over at Emirates Stadium in 2019.
The Spaniard has overseen a large-scale transformation of the squad, united the club off the pitch and his young team are in the driving seat in the race to finish fourth and qualify for the Champions League.
