Arsenal 'interested' in signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United and more transfer rumours

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been reportedly targeted by Arsenal, who are 'interested' in signing the 24-year-old.

Rashford has entered the last year of his contract at United, and although the club have the option to extend the deal by 12 months, they are yet to do so. According to Football Insider, Arsenal are keeping close tabs on the forward as they look to bolster their attacking line-up.

Mikel Arteta added former Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus to their front-line this summer, and now it seems that Rashford could be a further addition for the Gunners. The report claims that Arsenal were interested in signing the England international before they completed the transfer of Jesus, as they look to go back in for the United man once again.

Elsewhere, French outlet Jeunesfooteux (via TeamTalk) report that Leicester are lining up a move to sign Donny van de Beek.

The United midfielder has struggled for minutes under Erik ten Hag, as the initial optimism of the Dutch midfielder getting more game time under his former coach this season quickly evaporated. It is thought that a loan-to-buy deal is being prepared by the Foxes as they try to work out a way to make the deal financially viable for both clubs.

One option that may convince United to sanction the deal, could see Youri Tielemans go the other way. The Belgian midfielder was linked with Ten Hag's side over the summer, and rather than having to pay a potentially sizeable transfer fee for Van de Beek, Leicester could soften the blow with a swap deal.
