Arsenal have been tipped to give in on their demands over Hector Bellerin before the end of the summer transfer window.

The right-back spent last season on loan at Real Betis, helping the Spanish club win the Copa del Rey. He appears to be keen on a return to the Seville-based team, but his contract situation in north London remains an issue.

Bellerin has 12 months left on his deal, but Betis have yet to make an offer which the Gunners are willing to accept. Talks with the player's agent have reportedly proved not entirely productive, but there are suggestions Arsenal's resistance could yet break in the final weeks of the window.

"Any player with a contractual obligation with us, both ways, is our player and is considered our player so every plan is considered if that possibility exists and how they could fit in our team,” he explained last month," manager MIkel Arteta said earlier in the summer. Since then, the Gunners have offloaded some squad members, with Bernd Leno and Lucas Torreira among the latest to leave.

Bellerin has stayed put for now, though. And, according to El Desmarque, recent talks with the right-back's agent saw the representative return to Spain without a definitive resolution.
