Arsenal 'could make January move for 55-goal star happen' at the Emirates

Arsenal could lure PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo to the Emirates Stadium in January after they chose against strengthening their interest in the summer, according to journalist Paul Brown.

It was revealed in August that PSV's valuation of the winger stood at £38.4million, while Southampton failed with a proposal worth £21.4million.

Although they have already been knocked back in their efforts to acquire Gakpo, it is understood that Leeds are planning to push for his signature at the turn of the year after he has been identified as the club’s top target.
