Arsenal complete paperwork for goalkeeper Matt Turner
Arsenal have completed paperwork for the signing of goalkeeper Matt Turner from New England Revolution.
The signing will be completed in the summer pending a medical and his work permit.
A fee of £7.5million was agreed at the end of last month with the MLS but final details have now been processed and the 27-year old USA international will move to Arsenal in the summer.
Turner joined Major League Soccer side New England Revolution in 2016 from Jersey Express.
He has 13 caps to his name for his country, starting in all six of their games at the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and made 28 appearances for his club last year too.
As a result, the USA international will relish the challenge of being Aaron Ramsdale's understudy at Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Leno is expected to leave Arsenal with Newcastle among the clubs to have expressed an interest in the German.
Newcastle's current number one Martin Dubravka was the subject of a loan swap proposal with Manchester United's Dean Henderson at the end of January.
Henderson could also come back into Newcastle's thinking at the end of the season with the England international keen on making the move after being left disappointed that his loan did not materialise.
