Arsenal's fears that Bukayo Saka could leave the club may soon be realised with Liverpool being urged to move for the winger.
Saka, 20, has established himself as one of the most talented prospects in the Premier League this season and made himself one of the first names on Mikel Arteta's Arsenal team-sheet as he enjoyed a fantastic campaign. Saka registered 11 goals and seven assists in the Premier League last term, ending the campaign as the club's leading scorer
But the Gunners fell short of securing a return to Champions League football after six years out of the competition. And the fact Arsenal have failed to reach the Champions League will not ease fears over Saka's future, particularly given his contract situation in North London.
As things stand, Saka is tied to the Emirates until the summer of 2024. He has just two years left on his deal and the club's hierarchy know that, from this point, his market value is only going to go down unless they can tie him to a new deal. Fail to do that however, and next summer could present the Arsenal hierarchy with a hugely difficult decision to make.
