Arsenal: Agbonlahor says players overdid Aston Villa celebrations

Gabby Agbonlahor has criticised Arsenal’s players for celebrating “like they’d won the Champions League” following their win against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Arsenal recorded a fine 1-0 win at Villa Park courtesy of Bukayo Saka’s goal in the first half. 

In the fierce battle to finish in the top four of the Premier League, every win is crucial at this stage and Mikel Arteta’s players celebrated enthusiastically at full-time.

Centre-back Gabriel fell to his knees and the players swarmed around Bernd Leno, before the party continued in front of the travelling crowd.
