Liverpool’s slump continued this season with another defeat, this time at the Emirates as table toping Arsenal battled their way to a tough three points.

Disaster struck for The Reds who conceded on the whistle to go in at the break behind, as Saka converted from a swift counter attack.

The second half saw Roberto Firmino level the scores again thanks to a very well taken goal, with the Brazilian looking much more like his old self this year, one of the only players from the Anfield outfit who can hold their head relatively high this campaign, he just loves a goal against Arsenal!

However, with just 15 minutes on the clock, Arsenal were awarded a controversial penalty, which was made even more contentious with the one Liverpool were denied in the first half.

Saka stepped up and converted from the spot, sending the Emirates into raptures as they overcame another major hurdle as they look to mount a serious title challenge this season.
