Armed robber sprays shop staff before fleeing with mobile phones
Officers have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following an armed robbery at a Bury town centre store. Greater Manchester Police says the CeX store, at the Mill Gate Shopping Centre, was targeted by a man armed with a knife.
He sprayed a member of staff with an unknown irritant after entering the store, GMP says. He then left the shop with a number of mobile phones.
The force has released a CCTV appeal today (October 17) following the incident. It took place at around 4.30pm on Sunday, September 17.
