Are you worried about being able to see a GP?

People across the UK have reported struggling to see a GP, with many in Greater Manchester also struggling to try and meet their medical needs at times.

Earlier this week, residents in Oldham spoke to the Manchester Evening News about the difficulties they faced getting appointments, with doctors struggling to clear the backlog of patients following the Covid pandemic.

As a result, we want to know if you have concerns over being able to see a GP.

Readers have already gotten in touch with their experiences, with one saying: "I have a heart condition from birth I had open heart surgery a few years ago but still have three leaking heart valves, I passed out a few weeks back and so rang my GP surgery.

"When you ring you get told to ring at 1pm, when you do ring they then tell you to ring 8am the next morning. So begins the cycle of every day trying to get an appointment."

Another added: "I managed to book an appointment last week, unfortunately it was for six weeks later. Whilst it wasn't an emergency that needed same day treatment a six week wait is ridiculous and could see serious deterioration in that period."
