Are you concerned about the latest rise in Covid cases?

After March saw a rapid rise in Covid cases, we want to know if you're concerned about the situation.

New cases nationally had risen to more than 183,000 by 28 March with a seven day average of more than 69,000. The start of the month saw just under 27,000 new cases and a rolling seven day average of just shy of 24,000.

The rise comes after all remaining Covid restrictions were lifted on 24 February. Since then the government has also stopped offering free lateral flow tests, unless certain eligibility requirements are met.

An increase in cases across March has seen some companies such as airlines struggle with absences, which Wigan's director of public health Professor Kate Adern highlighted as a reason for the issues seen at Manchester Airport.

However, there are some signs of improvement this month with cases having dropped in Manchester from the start of April.

Let us know your thoughts in the comments section of our live blog below.

Since the government dropped all remaining Covid measures such as masks on public transport and being legally require to isolate following a positive test, cases began to rise again throughout March.

Has this rise given you any concerns? Let us know in the comments section of this blog.
