Apple's brand new MacBook Air M4 has already been reduced just days after launching

Apple's latest update to the MacBook Air series dropped this week with the laptop getting a modest upgrade to the M4 series of chips on Wednesday, March 12. The laptop launched at £999, but despite it only being available for two days, EE and Amazon have already dropped the price of it by up to 8%.

While 8% sounds like a small amount, it's actually a huge deal when dealing with a price tag this high. Instead of paying the full £999 for the MacBook Air M4, you can currently grab the baseline model for £916.17 at EE, or £929.97 at Amazon.

These baseline models include the upgraded M4 chip that was previously only available in the MacBook Pro laptops, which start at the much higher £1,599. Apple has also bumped up the starting amount of RAM, so you're getting 16GB by default here.

However, EE is offering the deeper 8% discount on Sky Blue, Midnight and Starlight models, making the classic Silver the only model that doesn't qualify.

It's extremely rare to see any of Apple's products get such a deep discount so early into its life-cycle, with their products usually holding their value for a good year. Prices normally start to drop when a new replacement product is around the corner, not two days after launch.

Still, you won't catch me complaining. Here are all the
