Appeal to find missing man, 25, who police think is in Greater Manchester

A man missing from his home in Derbyshire may have travelled to Manchester, police say. Greater Manchester Police have shared an appeal by Derbyshire Constabulary appealing for the whereabouts of 25-year-old Cameron McPhearson.

Cameron was last seen at his home in Chesterfield on Saturday (September 17) at around 10pm. He has not been seen since, and police believe he may have travelled to Manchester by train and could now be in Stockport.

He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and jogging bottoms and is described as of large build with long dark hair, part of which is dyed red. Police also say he often wears a lot of bracelets and walks with 'one foot not properly in his shoe'.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesman said: "We are appealing for help finding Cameron McPhearson, who has gone missing from home in Chesterfield. The 25-year-old was last seen at about 10pm on Saturday (17 Sep) at his home in Brendon Avenue, and at the time was wearing a grey hoodie and jogging bottoms.

"He has not been seen since and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. Cameron is of large build with long dark hair, part of which is dyed red. He often wears a lot of bracelets and walks with one foot not properly in his shoe.

"We are appealing for information from anyone who might have seen Cameron. It is possible that Cameron caught a train from Chesterfield to Manchester and could be in the Stockport area.

"Anyone with information should contact us via the following methods quoting incident 161 of 18 September."
