Antony's agent sends Manchester United cryptic transfer message during Liverpool FC fixture

Antony and his agent watched Manchester United play Liverpool at Old Trafford on Monday night.

United unveiled the signing of Casemiro from Real Madrid before kick-off, but the Manchester Evening News understands Erik ten Hag is still keen to strengthen his attacking options this summer, with Ajax winger Antony firmly on the club's radar.

Antony contributed 12 goals and 10 assists in 32 appearances for Ajax last season, which was an improvement on his already impressive debut campaign after signing from Sao Paulo, and Ten Hag would like to work with the player again.

It also seems Antony might be keen on a move to Old Trafford. That's because he shared an image with his agent, Emerson Santos, on Monday night and it appeared the pair were watching United take on Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Santos posted a picture which showed the pair were watching the game, but it has since been removed from Instagram.

Ajax sold Lisandro Martinez to United earlier this summer and it's thought they value Antony at around £80million.

Antony's contract with Ajax expires in 2024.
